An economizer is a device which recover heat energy issued by a heat source (example: The chimney of a boiler) to preheat the feed water recovering the energy that you have paid both to cool flue gas helping to avoid the issue of hot gases into the atmosphere.

Rectangular:

 

• Horizontally or vertically gas flow.
• Capacities: for boilers from 10,000 Lb / Hr to 1, 000,000 Lb / Hr.
• Pressure of 50 psig to supercritical.
• Horizontal or vertical pipes design.
• ASME Section I or VIII, Division I.

 

 

Cylindrical:

 

• Horizontally or vertically gas flow.
• Capacities: for boilers from 3450 Lb / Hr to 10,000 Lb / Hr.
• Construction with serrated fins or solid finned tubes.
• Soot blower.
• Minimum transitions to install on the chimney.
• Access door for inspection and cleaning.
• ASME Section I or VIII, Division I.
